Besides scholarships, you may qualify for grants or work study programs that will help you make ends meet while going to college.

Well, you have two choices. The first is to go ahead and take the loan and get a deferment on the loan after you are done due to financial hardship. This will delay repayment of the college student loan for a certain period of time until you are financially able to repay the loan. The second choice is not to take out a student loan and find an alternative means of money and funding such as those mentioned above.
