Financial aid for single mother children

According to the 2000 U.S census, single parents head 10% of U.S households. That's one in every 10 families who only either have just a mom or a dad. That means less disposable income and perhaps more reliance on state welfare and benefits. With only one parent, it can be difficult for single mothers to cope, but it shouldn't necessarily mean that your children doesn't have just as much of a chance of going to college or university as two parent families. Another source of money for college are scholarships, most importantly needs based scholarships. Colleges normally grant these for students who are deemed to be in financial need. So as you can see, there is a plethora of financial aid for single mother children. Your child is no less entitled than any other to pursue their ambitions.
